// INTRO
I've been setting private goals for years. It's convenient. When you miss a private goal, you just adjust the story. No one knows.
This year I'm doing the opposite.
These are the goals. And come December 31st, there's no hiding whether I hit them or not.
I wanted to set goals that are tangible, measurable, and push me outside of my comfort zone. Broad goals like "get in better shape" make it easy to give yourself a passing grade.
So here are my 2026 goals, broken down by category. Each one is specific and measurable.
The Framework
I've organized my goals into categories, but they all connect to a bigger theme:
Stop planning the perfect life and start living it.
In 2025, I hit my fitness goal easily. Too easily. I ran 1,000 miles and biked 1,000 miles. This year, I wanted goals that actually push me out of my comfort zone.
The moments that mattered most in 2025 weren't business milestones. They were:
- •Climbing 'The Chief'
- •Spending five weeks in the van
- •Time with family & friends
- •Van trips focused on biking & climbing
Looking back at the photos from the year, it's obvious these are the things that matter most to me.
So 2026 is different. These goals scare me a little. And that's the point.

Top-Level Priorities
After going through the exercise of setting goals, I wanted to pare things down to what would make 2026 feel like a success. This is the short list I came up with.
- •$1M personal cash flow
- •Create content consistently
- •Build & live an inspiring life
- •Travel more
- •Get E2 visa
- •Spend time with family and friends
Now let's get into more detail.
Business & Finance
In 2025, my businesses did over $5M in revenue. Kickbooster hit $1M in profit, and The Wanderful grew 20%.
But I also learned something important: not every business needs to be $10M-per-year company to be successful. The real goal is building systems and a business that allow me to work on the things I enjoy most.
When it comes to work, I need to prioritize what fills my bucket, not what drains it.
The easiest business goals to set are revenue and profit targets, so that's what I'm doing here. What you don't see are the systems I need to build to achieve these numbers, but I'll dive into that in future posts.
These targets are ambitious but achievable. More importantly, they're specific enough that I can't lie to myself about whether I'm making progress.
The Goals
- •The Wanderful: $3M revenue
- •Kickbooster: $1.5M profit
- •Bodystack: $1M revenue
- •Investing: $10K/month into Bitcoin & stocks from new cash flow

Health & Fitness
In 2025, I had a Function Health test done and discovered my heart biomarkers weren't the best. Given my family history of heart conditions, it wasn't a surprise, but it was a wake-up call.
I'm 38, and I realized I needed to be proactive instead of reactive.
I spent the year going deep into health: hormones, peptides, supplements, diet, and the things I can actually control.
This year, alongside improving my overall health, I'm setting some ambitious fitness goals. In the past, I stayed quiet about my goals because it made it easier to adjust the story if I didn't hit them.
That changes in 2026. I'm putting the goals out there.
The fitness goals I hit in 2025 felt too easy. This year, I'm setting goals that scare me a little.
The Goals
- •Get to 12% body fat
- •Complete a 100-mile ultra marathon
- •Run sub-3-hour marathon
- •Complete 100-mile bike ride
- •Lead climb a 5.10 outdoors

Purchases
I've never liked talking about money. The truth is, I don't need much.
In 2025, I realized I'd spent years working toward some "dream life" when I already had most of what mattered. So this section feels a bit silly, but there are two things I've always wanted: a classic Mustang and a mountain house.
The Mustang has been a dream for years. The mountain home is about creating a place where I can disconnect, recharge, and spend time with family and friends.
I want to start creating a life that's inspiring, and I've finally found the right person to do it with.
For a long time, I've put these kinds of things off. This year, I'm working toward them with intention.
Both are stretch goals that depend on the business hitting its targets. But they're also reminders of why I'm building businesses in the first place: to afford the life I want to live.
The Goals
- •Classic Mustang
- •Mountain home
Personal
These are the things that don't fit neatly into other categories but matter just as much.
Reading 12 books (1 per month) keeps me learning.
I also want to sit down and interview my immediate family. The older I get, the more I realize I only know my version of our shared history. I want to hear how they remember things, while I still can.
It's something I've wanted to do for a long time. This year, I'm making it happen.
The Goals
- •Read 12 books
- •Interview my family
Content
I've been inconsistent with content creation. I know what to do, I know what content I want to create, but I struggle with showing up daily.
In 2025, I started posting again here and there, but it never felt quite right. In 2026, I'm going to be more raw and honest, and hopefully people find it interesting.
One thing I always struggled with is knowing that people who know me personally (family, friends, coworkers) would be reading and watching the content I put out and judging me for it. Well this year I just need to stop caring about it.
I've dealt with imposter syndrome for a long time. It's easy to compare yourself to people who are further ahead. But I need to remind myself that my story is interesting, and if I enjoy creating content (which I do), I should prioritize it.
The Goals
- •Newsletter to 5K subscribers
- •Twitter to 10K followers
- •Instagram to 75K followers
- •YouTube to 30K subscribers
Health & Wellness Checks
All the tests and monitoring only matter if I'm going to use that information to make changes. These check-ins keep me honest and give me data to work with.
I'll be writing a full article on my health journey in 2025, but in short, everything I started last year is rolling into 2026.
Two DEXA scans (start and end of year) track body composition progress. Quarterly blood tests monitor the interventions I'm making. Monthly lactate testing helps optimize training. The full-body MRI is preventative, used to catch anything early.
This is what being proactive about health looks like: not waiting for problems, but actively monitoring and adjusting.
I plan to document more of this throughout the year.
The Goals
- •2x DEXA scans
- •Full-body MRI
- •3x blood draw tests
- •Monthly lactate testing
Travel & Experiences
Looking back at 2025, the best moments weren't business wins, they were experiences. Climbing The Chief. Spending 5 weeks in the van in BC. Time with family.
I never thought of myself as nostalgic, but going through my photos made it obvious what makes me happy. These trips aren't "nice-to-haves." They're the point.
It's the reason I work for myself and build businesses so I can do these kinds of things.
The business exists to fund the life, not the other way around.
This list could change throughout 2026. But when I sat down at the start of the year, these were the experiences I wanted to prioritize.
The Goals
- •Motorcycle trip with dad
- •Montreal (to finish tattoo)
- •Fishing trip
- •Snowboarding in Japan
- •Mountain biking trip
- •NYC with mom
- •Climbing trip
- •Golf trip
- •Heli skiing
- •Family trip / trip with sister
- •One remote work month
- •One overseas trip
- •Watch the Knoxville Nationals
- •Attend a college football game
I know in order to make any of these happen I need to be deliberate with planning and time management but the goal is to make it happen.

Monthly / Ongoing
These are the habits that compound over time.
I want to document my life more. Monthly blog posts help me reflect and keep a record of the journey.
I've always loved taking photos. It's been a hobby of mine since I was a little kid. But these days we never print out the photos. They live in our camera rolls, on hard drives or stuck in cloud storage. So this year I bought a few photo printers and those pictures are making their way to the physical world.
Small, consistent actions. Nothing dramatic, but these are the things that, looking back a decade from now, I'll be glad I did.
The Goals
- •Monthly blog posts or summaries (personal or published)
- •Print photos in Field Notes book
What's Different About 2026
I have much clearer objectives and priorities now. I have a better vision of where I want to be and what is important to me.
I'm more deliberate with time. Focusing on experiences alongside business. Being proactive about health instead of reactive. Tying my daily work directly to clear goals.
In 2025, I learned that life is passing by while I'm thinking instead of doing. I learned that experiences matter more than revenue milestones. I learned that not every business needs to be $10M/year to be successful.
2026 is about execution, planning, focus, and remembering to have fun.
Thanks for reading. Now you know my goals. Which means I can't hide from them anymore.
